Sustainable Printmaking
From waste to art: linocut prints, Tetra Pak drypoint, handmade greeting cards and more.
Sustainable printmaking with Tetra Pak plates
Using recycled Tetra Pak cartons, I create intaglio drypoints inspired by nature and music, transforming used carton packaging into printing plates through a fun TetraPak printing technique.
I then use a pasta machine as a printing press to transfer the artworks onto handmade paper, repurposing waste into meaningful artwork.
Linocut prints on second-hand materials
Eco-friendly linocut art hand-printed onto recycled and upcycled fabrics.
Each linocut design is carved on sustainable carving blocks and printed by hand onto second‑hand t‑shirts, organic cotton tote bags, and handmade recycled paper.
Over the years I created custom artworks for Glasgow songwriters and bespoke wedding illustrations, designed handmade greeting cards and clay pieces, sold at local markets, and led small creative workshops.
